...Twelve professional accident reconstruction associations with world-wide
representation met to explore the possibility of forming an internationally
recognized accreditation program open to both police and civilian accident
reconstructionists. The Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident
Reconstruction (ACTAR)
was the result of that coalition.

 

   Southwestern Association of Technical Accident Investigators, Inc.
    Established as a non-profit corporation in 1982, the Southwestern
Association of Technical Accident Investigators, Inc.
goal is to encourage and promulgate
the development of professional technical accident investigation and highway safety.

 


The Forensic Consultants Association (FCA) has brought 
together expert witnesses from many disciplines. To assure high quality,
the FCA employs a screening process to verify that the expert  you hire

American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Founded in 1880 as the American
Society of Mechanical Engineers, today ASME International is a nonprofit
educational and technical organization serving a worldwide membership

Founded in 1852, the American Society of Civil Engineers
(ASCE) represents morethan 125,000 members of the civil
engineering profession worldwide, and is America's oldest
national engineering society. ASCE’s vision is to position

In response to a manifest need to provide a society that gave equal status to representatives
of both biomedical and engineering interests, the Biomedical Engineering Society was incorp
-orated in Illinois on February 1, 1968. As stated in the Articles of Incorporation, the purpose
of the Society is: "To promote the increase of biomedical engineering knowledge and
its utilization."


The National Academy of Forensic Engineers (NAFE ®) is a professional
organization formed in 1982 to advance the art and skill of engineers who
serve as engineering consultants to members of the legal profession and as
expert witnesses in courts of law, arbitration proceedings and administrative
